| Emperor/Oxygene Hurghada is located in custom-built premises at the Touristic Harbour El Mina, next to the main ferry port and close to the main shopping area. But the best bit is that it's 30 minutes closer to the most popular dive sites such as Abu Nuhas, Thistlegorm and a stone's throw away from Giftun Island. The training school, dive centre, shop, liveaboard and day diving offices are together under one roof.
You can enjoy half-day or one-day boat trips. The dive centre also has free WiFi access and a large shop stocked with dive accessories, diving fashion, guidebooks and toys. Both budding and experienced divers will enjoy Hurghada; whether it's day diving, doing one of the day trips, learning to dive, taking your diving further or technical diving with Tekstreme.
Hurghada is by far the best base for diving the wrecks of the Red Sea including the SS Thistlegorm, Giannis D, Carnatic, Chrisoula K and Kimon M. Even more local are the wrecks of the El Mina, Excalibur and Bellina. For the technical diver the wrecks of Hebat Allah and Al Qamar Al Saudi Al Misri offer great deeper dives. Special trips can also be arranged to the wrecks off Safaga: the Salem Express and the El Qafein on Sha’ab Sheer and the El Arish El Tor.
Hurghada is renowned for its stunning scuba diving, snorkelling on coral reefs and wrecks, watersports and beaches. For hustle and bustle, try the local markets or vibrant nightlife.
NEW! Beach centre, daily dive boat and zodiac!
Hurghada’s new beach centre is now running DSDs, open water courses and occasional night dives.
The new daily boat, Sea Dream, will be running overnight programmes to Thistlegorm and Abu Nuhas. Sea Dream also has a zodiac, which makes out-of-the-way sites more accessible to divers.
