Open Water Scuba Instructor

The PADI IDC provides a professional learning experience in which you will learn how to teach diving, utilising the most successful program in existence - the PADI system of diver education. When you complete the PADI IDC, you will have been trained and prepared to attend a PADI Instructor Examination (IE), the final step towards your PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification. 

Prerequisites IDC:
• PADI Divemaster or equivalent.
• 18 years old.
• Approved medical max 12 months ago.
• Must have been diving for 6 months with at least 60 logged dives, including night, deep and navigation dives. 100 logged dives is required to be certified.
• Proof of first air / CPR training conducted the past 24 months.
• If the student is not PADI DM, the student must, in a satisfactory manor, complete the rescue skills of the PADI Divemaster Program.

Prerequisites OWSI:
• PADI Assistant instructor, or an instructor with another recognised training organisation.
• 18 years old.
• Approved medical max 12 months ago.
• Must have been diving for 6 months with at least 60 logged dives, including night, deep and navigation dives. 100 logged dives is required to be certified.
• Proof of first air / CPR training conducted the past 24 months.
